A SW 55+ Connect membership is the best way to enjoy everything we have to offer, and the opportunity to support our organization on an annual basis.

Be part of developing one of Calgary’s newest organizations for older adults! 

Our programming is open to anyone who is 55+ years of age living in SW Calgary. Currently, we have 150+ members.  We are a volunteer based, grassroots, registered nonprofit association which means everything we offer is done by our members. Hence, there is a volunteer opportunity to suit your skills, interests and schedule.  You can have (almost) any program you want, if you are willing to host.   We do not have a physical location and host our activities at public spaces such as restaurants/pubs or at rented venues like community centres and churches.

  • ​As of Jan 1, 2026, SW 55+ Connect is no longer accepting Super Membership
  • Super Membership will still continue to provide privileges at 13 other senior’s centres: Bow Cliff Centre 50+, Unison at Kerby Centre, Confederation Park 55+ Activity Centre, Parkdale Nifty Fifties Seniors Association, Greater Forest lawn 55+ Society, Ogden 50+ Activity Centre, West Hillhurst Go Getters, Rainbow Elders,  and Bowness Seniors Centre.

Membership Information for 2026

2026 memberships run from November 1, 2025 until December 31, 2026. Our membership is on an annual basis and you can pay by e-transfer, or by mailing a cheque or by payment of cash to any one of our board members.

  • To complete your payment via e-transfer, opt for the manual payment method at checkout, go to your online bank service and e-transfer the payment amount to info@sw55connect.ca.  As of November 1, 2025 to Dec 31, 2026 membership is now $20.  Membership for 2025 will expire on Dec 31, 2025.
     
  • To pay by cheque download our membership form, fill it out, and mail it along with a cheque payable to SW55+ Connect to PO Box 14023, RPO Richmond, Calgary AB T3E 7Y7.
