Report On MLA Whitney Issik December 10 Chat A group of members enjoyed an open discussion via Zoom on how to better serve the Oakridge community, not just seniors. Thanks to Karen Lee for hosting the session and Shearer Johnson for thanking our speaker. And of course to president Barry for connecting with our MLA and facilitating the session on Zoom. MLA Issik promises news soon on planned senior housing initiatives. We look forward to more sessions like this in future.

Some come to you through our OSA volunteers while others from Calgary Seniors*, who have a well-established network of volunteers and programs. Register online and start using some of these great resources. *Pet Assist, Caring Companions, Holiday Helpers, Seniors Connecting Seniors Porch Portraits Sorry to report only one member took advantage of the roaming photographer at your door - but check out the cheery greetings from members posted in the middle section of our website home page(click here). Still remind you to send us a selfie (via our email address) with you and your holiday arrangement, door wreath, Santa or welcome mat. Oakridge Community Oakridge Community Garden The garden has gone to sleep for the winter but good things are still happening down there. Lights installed on the pergola cheer up the neighbourhood, not just around the holiday season. Drop off books to their Little Library (gardening books preferred.)
